I came home to Seattle this weekend for a friend’s wedding and managed to get in some family time visiting all my favorite spots in Seattle – including the glorious flower stands in Pike Place Market- and then took a twirl on the new ‘Great Wheel’ (like the London Eye) which sits on a pier overlooking Puget Sound. When I first saw they were building this I thought it was an annoying tourist attraction. But after riding it, it really won me over. If you visit Seattle, you have should really go on it! It gives beautiful views of both the city in one direction and the sound in the other and you’re on it for a full 20 minutes. We loved it.

Wahhhhh I am so jealous! I need to get home soon and ride that glorious thing. Amazing photos! Also, I need to get to SF or you need to come to NYC and we need to become IRL friends asap.
